Day 1: M’hamid – Ghazala Camp
Driver will come and pick you up from your hotel at 09.00 so that, your desert journey starts at 10.00am with an off road ride from M’hamid village deep into the Sahara desert. After around one hour driving, we stop by a set of palm trees for a lunch break and enjoy the tranquility of the desert. After a tasty cup of tea, we continue by 4×4 Jeep to drive further into the immense and picturesque sand dunes of Erg Chegaga. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a 1 hour camel ride in the midst of the gorgeous sand dunes for a memorable sunset. Dinner will be served at Ghazala. restaurant and overnight will be in a royal Lodge at Ghazala Camp.
Day 2: Ghazala Camp – Nomadic Life Experience
After enjoying the sunrise upon the immense sand dunes, breakfast will be served in our Royal Ghazala desert restaurant. Today, you will enjoy a full day desert exploration. You will live a nomadic life by learning more about the living style of this rare tribe. This unique experience is a sample of our ecotourism activity to protect the desert natural resources as well as to keep alive the nomad tribe tradition. We will ride our camels deep into the Sahara Desert with its stunning landscapes and formations. Lunch will be enjoyed with a nomad family under their tent shelter. Late afternoon, we will be back at the camp where we will enjoy our evening. Overnight including half board at Ghazala Camp.
Day 3: Ghazala Camp – Mhamid
Enjoy a picturesque sunrise upon the sand dunes and a refreshing breakfast at the Ghazal restaurant. Afterwards we make our way back to the village of Mhamid, the “Desert Gate of Morocco”.Arrival. Afterwards, continue your journey or extend your stay for another night at our cosy Hotel in Mhamid and enjoy the refreshing swimming pool.
